Mietta's Review
Solid pan-Italian food comes from the kitchen in this good-looking dining room. Black clad Italian waiters deliver the food with efficiency and charm. All pasta is made in-house. Mains $20-$38. They also own the pizzeria next door for those who want quick cheap food.

Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2009 Score: 13/20 "There's a decent, unassuming vibe to this homely (if not slightly cramped) trattoria where ultra-friendly service and unfussy food of huge proportions make it consistently popular"

Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2008 Score: 13/20 "The very best local restaurants serve food you could eat weekly, if not daily. So it is with Sevardi, a friendly, traditional neighbourhood trattoria that's kept customers happy for nine years"

Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2007 Score: 13/20 "Oh, for a Sevardi Cucina at the end of every suburban street, where everyone is hugged on arrival, kissed on departure, and fed delectable Italian food at all points in between. Antonio Abassi's intimate room - dark floors, plain walls, crisp white linen - is a perfect setting for a family meal or an intimate tete- a-tete."

SMH Good Food Guide 2005 13/20 "Via Veneto meets the village green in this friendly neighbourhood restaurant where locals come to celebrate birthdays in the leafy Hills District, It's a stylish, intimate room, candlelit, with a dark wood-panelled interior and Italian music to create a romantic atmosphere. It's a good-looking space that complements the good-looking Italian waiters all dressed in black."

Sydney Eats 2005 "Another suburban gem serving fine Italian food to lucky locals in a handsome room. Sevardi's food is sourced from either end of the Italian boot"

SMH GFG 2004,Score 12/20,'First impressions are that the timber-graced room is quite formal, but a friendly welcome and a shrug of the shoulders suggest a more casual atmosphere sometimes bordering on the overly lax. There are few surprises on the menu, but ample choice of well-worn favourites...The flavours are robust and the servings generous'
