Mietta's ReviewOne of the few Iranian restaurants in Sydney. This one specialises in chargrilled kebabs. Apart from the excellent grilled meats try the fesanjun, a braised dish with a walnut and pomegranate molasses sauce or one of the polos (pilafs). They do a number of large parties so it can become noisy. There's a Sunday buffet $22.

SBS Eating Guide to Sydney 2005 "Tender, tasty chargrilled kebabs are a specialty at this unassuming upstairs restaurant in peaceful Lane Cove. Run by the charming Jim Dastyari (a kebab specialist), you will be guaranteed of a little trip through the cuisine of Persia, especially if you start with one of their yoghurt (must) or eggplant dishes, including must-o-mooseer with special sweet wild garlic."
Sydney Cheap Eats 2005 "While we've never quite managed to work out exactly what distinguishes Persian from other Middle Eastern cuisines like Lebanese or Turkish, we can confirm we like it a lot, especially the way it's done here."
