Mietta's Review
Another car-dealer cafe. This time attached to the Mercedes dealership at Rushcutters Bay where you are separated from the serious money (the current Maybach costs around $1 million) by showroom windows. The cafe is suitably sauve in appearance which is a little incongrous for an all-day breakfast haunt augmented with kids. Excellent coffee, reasonable food.

Sydney Eats 2009 "While the name might mean a million dollars, the fare and attitude here are far more honest and down to earth"
Sydney Eats 2008 "Don't be daunted that this stylish cafe is named after the flagship of the Mercedes range. Even if the motors are out of your price range, caterer Serena Sanderson's food is eminently affordable"
Sydney Cheap Eats 2005 "Merc fans can now join other luxury car freaks and gaze at the objects of their affection while chowing down - a mere glass wall (and about a million bucks for the basic Maybach Merc) separates diners at this stylish bayside cafe from the Mercedes-Benz dealership next door"
SMH Good Living Helen Greenwood October 30, 2004. "A new cafe with luxury-car styling. Out of 10 - Food 8 A notch above most with an imaginative lunch menu, nicely delivered. Atmosphere 8 As smart as the walnut dashboard of a luxury sedan, of course. Value 8 About $33 a head for two courses, juice and coffee. Service 8 Attentive, but could brush up the communication with the kitchen."
SMH GFG 2004, Score 13/20,'good enough to be in a fine dining restaurant but with a menu satisfying the cafe brief with high-tech sandwiches and a counter full of sweet treats'
