Gourmet Traveller 2013 Australian Restaurant Guide Score: 1 Star "Its namesake currency may have taken a drubbing, but the stock of this smart bistro has rarely been higher. The kitchen it shares with its big brother. Urbane, is benefiting from a blast of Argentine elan courtesy of new chef Alejandro Cancino"

Gourmet Traveller 2012 Australian Restaurant Guide Score: One Star "The Euro shares the same kitchen as neighbouring Urbane but here the team tones down the whizz-bangery a bit to present polished takes on bistro fare. And with winning results"
Courier Mail Food and Wine Guide 2011 Score: 16/20, Two Stars "A welcome addition to the CBD dining scene. The Euro, along with revamped big sister Urbane, opened last year to much fanfare and so far has lived up to the hype"
Gourmet Traveller 2011 Australian Restaurant Guide Score: * "The Euro bears all the hallmarks of its chic sibling Urbane, but with a less high-falutin' menu and more punch. Start with share plates, arancini perhaps - three golden, thin-crumbe9 spheres encasing a gently citrus-spiked rabbit, olive and rice mix and served with an earthy porcini veloute"
Brisbane News Tony Harper, 02-02-2010 Score: FOOD: 8.5 WINE: 8 AMBIENCE: 9 SERVICE: 8.5 "The Euro bistro is, I reckon, the best-looking room in the new complex and arguably one of the best in town. It feels nicely removed from the hubbub of the city, its surfaces and detail lending it plenty of atmosphere, colour and texture. The menu dispenses with the conventional notion of entree, main and dessert, instead grouping plates by type: share plates, charcuterie, cold entrees, hot entrees, meats, fish, pasta and sides. ... The Euro is a terrific addition to Brisbane dining. It is deliberately forging its own style rather than following the creed of ethnicity or mod-Oz bistro and it is doing it with a great deal of flair and professionalism."
Courier Mail Lizzie Loel, December 21, 2009 Score: Food 16.5 Wine 16 Service 18 Ambience 16 "The Euro is Urbane's next door neighbour that opened on the same day but with a distinctly different mission statement. Where Urbane is all cool lines, foie gras veloutes, soy bubbles and liquorice dust, The Euro is an altogether more recognisable product. ... So enter Euro, Urbane's culinary soft landing alternative with it's massive menu, share plates, jamon platters, steaks on breadboards and wide market appeal. And when I say massive menu, I'm talking the size that would put your local Chinese to shame. No less than 65 items appear on the large A3 card and that's before the steaks, of which there are 12. ... And here's the thing - all this, a bar menu for the Laneway Bar upstairs and the intricate Urbane menu come from the same kitchen produced by a cast of thousands under the watchful eye of chef Kym Machin."
