Mietta's ReviewThe Sidewalk's main claim to fame is it's seaffod buffet on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday lunch. It's not cheap (in 06 seafood was $48-$68, but it's good. Great views in this always open hotel cafe.

Courier Mail Chris Bartlett, 20--06 "So it was we found ourselves at the Sidewalk Restaurant, in the Sofitel Hotel. Sidewalk does a seafood buffet at weekends. (It also has an extensive a la carte menu.) It had been recommended to my dining partner by a fellow cookery-class student, a Sidewalk buffet regular. ... With wide windows overlooking the city skyline, it makes for a pleasant day (or night) out."
