Alex and Susan Lyle brought a touch of city sophistication to the Noosa hinterland at Montville with their eponomously named restaurant. There's a verandah outside when the weather is warm and an open fire inside if it's not. Alex, produces good brasserie dishes using the European palate and in 06mains averaged $25.
