Courier Mail November 09, 2009 Score: Food 7.5, drinks 8, Service 7, Ambience 7.5, "While it is the younger sibling to a near-identical cafe at Ashgrove's new Woolworths centre, it's no franchise, and its pedigree is excellent. Leigh Gibbs (formerly of Holland Park's Rare Pear, one of my all-time favourite cafes) is running the kitchen, and the owners are Amanda and John Scott, previously of the original Continental Cafe in New Farm. Amanda reports that many of their old clients from New Farm have, like them, made the move to the suburbs, and they're enjoying getting reacquainted."
