Mietta's Review
A small, stylishly formal and elegant restaurant with seasonal menus of first-rate products and a global sweep of flavours and techniques - from Japanese tea-smoked trout to French potroasted chicken with sage Bearnaise. A well selected, Tasmanian dominated wine list and exceptional quality cooking and service. Winner of the Restaurant and Caterers' Best Tasmanian Restaurant award in 2003.

Gourmet Traveller 2006 Restaurant Guide * "Restaurant Synergy is a small and intimate affair, where, under the keen direction of two owner-chefs, the food is unquestionably the star attraction. Wooden floors, Mediterraneantoned walls and paper-covered linen tablecloths make for welcoming dining, while service is very attentive"
Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Australia 2005 "Synergy is a pleasant space that presents different faces according to the season. In summer, large doors open onto a sunny terrace giving it a light, airy ambience. In winter, closed drapes and green "bagged" walls give it a warm and enclosing feel. Dishes are complex, with many components vying for space on the plate."
Courier Mail Goodlife 14/12/04 "a small venue, intimate but unpretentious, with a wait staff extremely confident in their manner. That confidence, I soon realised, was because they knew the dishes they were presenting have become firm favourites with residents and tourists alike."
Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Australia 2004,'Knowing that its two owners are both in the kitchen may help explain how it's possible to plate such complex dishes at such affordable prices...Classy service and interesting eating guarantee a dining experience that's meant to be taken seriously. The wine list is heavily weighted towards Tasmanian wines.'
