Mietta's Review
Founded in 1982 and still going strong this family-run suburban Chinese gives much more than the prices would indicate. Good and reliable Cantonese dishes go out to family groups in the Chinese manner. Very careful and attentive service and low prices.

The Age Cheap Eats 2006 Shining like a celestial beacon in this otherwise comatose Bentleigh East strip, Seven Stars dishes up fare with flare. What this restaurant lacks in chi-chi decor is more than made up for with the animated buzz of locals who've been frequenting it for the past 24 years.

The Age Cheap Eats 2005 "HERE'S a contender for Melbourne's best neighbourhood Chinese. An unmemorable room in a less-than-glam location, it succeeds thanks to very reasonable prices and a menu that mixes old favourites with less obvious options for the more adventurous"

Age "a simple little Chinese where the prices are puny but the pride is obvious - in the clean, whiteclothed tables, in the way the wine glasses sprout paper napkins like plumes, in a menu that reads like the usual suburban Chinese but is frill of crunchy fresh veg, thick rich sauces and the complete absence of that grey "mystery meat" so often seen at other establishments in this price bracket."
