Busy-buzzy-macho-good is the impression on entering this large restaurant, dominated by a long bar and a large mural displaying very nude males in classical poses. Black clad waiters (and a few waitresses) zip about like water beetles on a pond, good humoured and efficient. Diners come and go and range between a yellow singleted young man who looks as though he has just run a marathon and grey-blonde middle-aged ladies who would look at home in Brighton. Veal parmigiana was simply but well cooked and a pizza topped with goat cheese, sundried tomatoes etc. was all a pizza should be.

It can be a bit noisy, service is casual. There is an extensive menu (and one for kids) with daily blackboard specials.
