Herald Sun Stephen Downes, 2010 Score: 11/20 "Year-old True South brews its own excellent beer on the premises. And the large space itself has a fine ambience in which to eat. So how and why does this place produce such uneven food and serve it so gauchely? Your guess is as good as mine. As an idea, True South is pretty near perfect. Its execution, though, leaves a lot to be desired. Which is a pity in an area crying out for good restaurants."
