Mietta's Review
Caffe Per Te, is somewhat of an institution in Brighton. Having weathered the storm of many new ventures opening around it; Caffe Per Te has renovated and forged ahead. The cool, dark wood interior, is a pleasant backdrop for the traditional Italian menu. The food is very good, with the pride in their coffee evident. Whilst the wine list whilst is a little pricey, dining at Caffe Per Te is an enjoyable experience..

Other published opinions

The Age Good Food Guide 2006 score 13/20 "Caffe Per Te has the happy hum of a restaurant that's in perfect harmony with its clientele. During the day, locals sip lattes at breakfast, and lunch on basil bocconcini panini in the canopied outdoor area. At night, slick but friendly waiters work the narrow half-timbered room, which steadily fills with crowds celebrating birthdays and anniversaries."

The Age Good Food Guide 2005 "the setup is fairly utilitarian, with a corridor-like room (many tables are under a plastic tarp out the front), timber panelling, tiled floors and bustling yet uneffusive staff."

The Age, A2,12/6/04, John Weldon,'Caffe per te means coffe for you,but this welcoming Brighton restaurant sports much more than a caffeine faucet. There's a huge specials board written in Italian...The serves here are so large'
