Mietta's Review
This family run restaurant is warm and welcoming with its freshly painted white walls decorated with oriental rugs and offset by soft red carpet. The front room is smaller and also where takeaway customers await their food. To the rear there is a larger room seating about 50. Very much a restaurant for the middle management of Brighton and Hampton. Both of The Cedar Tree's rooms are well lit with halogen down-lights and more ornamental glass and brass ceiling fixtures. Even when nearly full, the noise level is fine. Tables are covered with brightly coloured plastic in an oriental rug pattern and cream linen napkins are neatly fanned. The service is friendly and drinks served promptly with a small wine list offering some real bargains. The menu has all the traditional Lebanese favourites and a banquet option with reasonably well-executed dishes.
