The Age Dani Valent, 16-10-2007 "There's no way around the dodgy food I tried at Robbie's Stein, but I wouldn't quite write the place off. Open three months, it pitches itself as a fish-focused wine bar and, if you lucked onto a decent snack, there's fun to be had in this well-intentioned family business. The wine list has an unpretentious mid-market pitch with a good selection by the glass. Like the food, it's moderately priced. The room is small with high, heavy chairs and tall banquettes that get less comfortable as time goes on. Seating is either side of handsome butcher's block tables or at the bar. Timber and vintage features add to the cosy feel."
