The Age Good Food Guide 2005 "AFTER 25 years, Tandoori Den has surely earnt the right to be called an Indian icon. The tandoor still works overtime, as does the chef, who wraps, skewers and embellishes all manner of meats, pastries and breads in readiness for the fiery furnace. Sure, the furniture is dated and the frilly drapes would look comfy at grandma's, but the gracious and attentive waiters take their lead from a kitchen intent on consistency and quality."
Heral Sun Bob Hart 12/2/05 "This is one of our earliest Indian eateries and remains one of our best, as a visit this week demonstrated."

The Age, Sunday Life, 23/11/03, John Lethlean,'One of those restaurants with rare longevity,Tandoori Den has been doing its thing forever. Its thing is a familar broad crosssection of Indian classics, with plenty of tandoor action.'
