Mietta's Review The Thompsons are great hosts and now can accomodate twice as many guests in what was once Mr Ryan's butcher's shop. Live music plays from Thursday-Sunday. A wacky place full of character and memorabilia. Meals are honest, hearty and generous. The service is country hospitality, casual and very friendly.

Ginger Garlic Victoria Well worth the trip to Eltham if Indian is your bag. Small and intimate in winter, with a terrace when the weather permits. The food is eclectic.

Mercer's Victoria Set in a re-furbished Federation house, Mercer's is a very careful and innovative restaurant that's worth every bit of the drive to Eltham.
