Mietta's Review
Mostly take-away this very popular lunch spot at the legal end of town. There are tables outside as well as seats at the internal marble bench. Pizzas combine traditional topping with some more modern Australian creations.

The Age Cheap Eats 2008 "On weekday mornings Ortigia's chef rises early to cook the day's offerings in a kitchen away from the city bustle"
The Age Cheap Eats 2007 "Squeezed in a corner in the heart of the legal district, Ortigia does a snappy trade in quality pizza by the slice. Busy folk on the run enjoy its breakfast combo of bacon, egg and mozzarella, but if there's time bag a rare spot at the marble bench inside and enjoy a crisp slice of pumpkin, gorgonzola and walnut pizza, or perhaps a crunchy panino with tuna mayonnaise, roma tomato and lettuce."
The Age Cheap Eats 2006 An $8000 Murano chandelier hangs from the ceiling of this white-tiled little sister of Syracuse. But you're here for the pizza, which is sold by the slice and some of the CBD's best.
The Age Cheap Eats 2005 "BREAKFAST pizza used to be a dish served cold with a hangover. No more. Ortigia's high-tech oven fires up early to provide suits with egg and bacon or mushroom pizza slices."
The Age Take 5 Roslyn Grundy 15/8/04 "Eat at the marble bench inside, or warm yourself under the gas heaters at the outdoor tables as you wait for your order to appear through the hatch."
