Mietta's Review
Sydneysider, Anthony Musarra, has taken over at Radii, which is one of Melbourne's glitziest destination restaurants. Expensive with a rather strange set-up, a smart mediterranean menu constructed of fine ingredients presents dishes full of flavour, and stylishly presented. Service is professional and attentive. Downstairs is a cocktail bar, very Vegas, where you can drink and dance overlooked by other diners.

The Age Good Food Guide 2006 score 16/20, 2 Hats "Radii, in the swank Park Hyatt, brings some much-needed va-va-voom to the staid hotel dining scene. The excitement is on the plate as much as in the glitzy, glittery setting. Chef Anthony Musarra takes an expansive view of Mediterranean cuisine, sending out generous labour-intensive dishes of many carefully planned parts."

The Age Good Food Guide 2005 score 15/20 One Hat "AFTER a period on hold, Park Hyatt's radii is again a place worth visiting, courtesy of new chef Anthony Musarra. The Sydneysider's hallmark? A youthful take on modern Mediterranean cooking, inspired, but not dominated, by his Italian roots. Musarra's food is clean and full of refined flavours, making it all the more regrettable that radii still feels like the hotel restaurant it is."

Gourmet Traveller 2005 Restaurant Guide ** "Hiring Anthony Musarra as executive chefis the best thing Radii has done since losing Paul Wilson to the Botanical in 2003. The Sydney chef brings with him a similarly unpretentious touch with Italian-ish flavours, and his style suits Melbourne well"

Herald Sun Stephen Downes 24/8/04 RADII score 14/20 "The new direction at radii takes us back to the glorious recent past of Australian cooking. Service here is very good - a huge improvement on radii's earliest days - and the wine list is very big and very expensive. Luckily, there is plenty of choice by glass."

Age To Go 10/7/04 "Usually it's our chefs who are seduced by Sydney, so it's nice to see us win one back. Anthony Musarra has moved from the Harbour City to take over the garishly decorated radii restaurant in Melbourne's Park Hyatt."

The Age, Epicure, 1/6/04, John Lethlean,Score 16/20,'Go and make the Sydney boy welcome:radii is again home to some seriously good, contemporary food. But remember,it is a hotel.'

The Age, Agenda, 23/5/04,John Lethlean,'New kid on the East Melbourne block Anthony Musarra hails from Sydney, and cooks like a dream,a modern Mediterranean style inspired, but not dominated,by his Italian roots. This is good news, because radii is not cheap, especially if you're thirsty.Look for his ravioli and anything with fish in it.'

Herald Sun,citystyle,25/5/04,Danielle Johnston,'Roll up to Radii between 5 and 7pm,Tuesday to Friday, for half-price drinks in this boutique-style hotel bar.Sample Steve Bloody Irwin and follow it with an After-Dinner Cocktail such as the Peppermint Crisp.'

The Age Good Food Guide Awards 2004 1 hat, score 15/20, excellent wine list, excellent bar
