Mietta's Review
A Spanish restaurant is hardly what you would expect to find on the Portarlington foreshore. But Port Pier Cafe is, and a good one at that, the tapas is great. Once the Fisherman's Co-op it's just opposite the Portarlington Pier, hence its name, the view over the bay is lovely. The seafood is a speciality here.

The Foodies' Guide 2004,Allan Campion & Michele Curtis,'A strong Spanish influence dominates the menu. You can't go too far wrong with any of the offerings, though the tapas, local mussels (usually cooked in one of four different ways) and paella are hard to resist.'
Delicious November Edition 2003, Spanish menu in this simple cafe with a view of fishing boats tied up to portalington pier. seafood is its strength. Excellent tapas.
