Mietta's Review
The Vietnamese local for Chapel St. Lots of families and students come here. Prices and comfort are bit more than Victoria St. More casual at lunch, the table cloths go on at night. Service is friendly and regulars enjoy bringing their own wine here for a very reasonably priced meal. Delivery and take away are the go here. There's a free home delivery service if you dwell between the river and Balclava Rd and between St Kilda and Orrong Rds. Also at 86 Victoria St. Richmond, 9429 8328

Age Rachel Pitts 13/10/05 "After your order is whisked off to the kitchen out comes an artfully composed bowl of soup, glowing golden and topped with green - chives, coriander and spring onions - and alongside, a small kingdom of extras: sprouts, Vietnamese mint, chilli and lemon"

The Age Cheap Eats 2004,Good vegetarian options,Somewhere we highly recommend,'The trellis and scaffolding decor is part Countdown, part Burke's Backyard, but the joint jumps with folk keen to order reliably prepared favourites...Strong flavours, bright colours and hearty serves rule.'

The Foodies' Guide 2004,Allan Campion & Michele Curtis,'Lively and bustling, you'll almost wish you were eating in to be a part of all the action here.Go for the pho,rice-paper or spring rolls, and sample some of the deep-fried food such as the salted prawns and chicken wings.'

AGFG 2004, score 12/20, wide selection of vegetarain dishes, two courses for $25 or less

The Age, A2, 14/2/04, Matt Preston,'Let's not dwell too deeply on the name of this consistent Vietnamese performer. Instead focus on the 'bo la lop''
