Mietta's Review During the day, dining is the thing here but at night things get moving.
One of the first bars with a general license, Class 2, to serve liquor without meals and to have DJ's playing. Was established at the end of 1995 to give the live element of modern music, that is, house music, funk, R&B. It is primarily a bar not a night club. People go there for food as well as for the groove. The decor is described as " Retro come Picasso". The place is very user friendly . You can even breakfast on the weekends with kids. Business people come during the week for lunch and dinner and the DJ's come on later at night.

The Age Cheap Eats 2004,Good Bar,'The Candy Bar's once fabulous but now slightly seedy surrealist decor harks back to Greville Street's clubland heyday, and it's still doing duty as a loungey DJ bar, restaurant and late night snack stop.Dinners are typically muddled mod-Oz.'
