Mietta's Review
A real stayer, begun in 1987 and still going strong. Very popular for breakfast. The menu is long and comprehensive and the atmosphere is conducive to leisurely eating eggs or pancakes while conducting a business meeting or reading all the weekend papers. Also open for lunch.

Herald Sun Donna Coutts, 16-12-06 "Part of Sweethearts' mildly quaint appeal is its approach to service. Apart from one lessthan-perfect encounter on a Saturday a few years ago, the service is impeccable. Today, our whole bill comes to less than $17, yet anyone would think we were forking out a hundred gorillas for something truffle-infused and fiddled with by a Frenchman."
