Leave Carters Road, go through the scrub following the mysterious food signs tacked to the trees, then when the resident retriever barks, you're there. A tin roofed, weatherboard house with an outside area hanging out over the valley. Great view. Inside is light, bright and very country casual. There's a small interesting menu. Then you see the chefs in starched white uniforms and tall toques looking as though they had stepped out of the kitchens of Tour d'Argent rather than a cafe in Margaret River. However, the waitresses are in T shirts and jeans.
