West Australian Good Food Guide 2012 Score: 12.5/20 "LIDO HAS fast-food service, but restaurant quality food. It's very family-friendly (to the point of annoyance for the childless-by-choice) and has the ubiquitous flat screen staring out from one wall"
West Australian Dining Out Amanda Saunders, 11-11-10 "Nestled among the abundance of Asian joints on William Street, Northbridge, Lido is anything but flash. It is a big, stark, noisy restaurant refreshingly devoid of pretension, with a handful of lanterns the only concession to decoration. But the crowds of customers flock to it for its reasonably cheap, delicious Vietnamese food. They slip in, with their casuals on, have a feast and slip out again. It struck us as a loved local and a getaway of sorts for the well-heeled, who can rock up without getting frDcked up. Lido is not the kind of restaurant where you would linger over dessert, but while you are there sit back and enjoy the constant activity and the chance to people watch through the big glass windows that front William Street."
Sunday Mail Alicia Bridges Entertainment, 13-3-2009 Score: Value 5/5, Food 4/5, Ambience 4/5, Service 5/5 "Lido is one of the more aesthetically pleasing of the many Asian restaurants that dot the short stretch of William St in Northbridge. Big and open, it has a modern facade and decor, with a long front window letting in just enough sunshine. I was greeted swiftly at the door and led to a table of my choice."
