Ingredients

4 Oranges

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh Pineapple

1 small wineglass Sherry

Ginger-Beer

Method

Squeeze the juice of four oranges into a large jug. Add pineapple and, if possible, strawberries. Sweeten with a little castor sugar, and add sherry. The latter is not essential, but gives extra flavour. When required add a handful or two of cracked ice and fill the jug with equal parts of lemonade and ginger-beer.
