Pizza Crust
Ingredients3 oz Plain Flour 3 oz SR Flour Pinch Salt Cayenne Pepper 1/2 level teaspoon Mustard 1 Egg 3 tablespoons Milk (approx) 2 oz Butter |
MethodSift flours, salt, mustard, pinch of cayenne. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Beat the egg with the milk and add to the dry ingredients making into a rather firm dough. Turn onto a lightly floured board and knead until smooth on the outside. Roll to a 1/8 inch thickness. Use to line a flat 8-9 inch pizza plate pressing the dough neatly into form and trim the edges. Dot with a little butter and set aside while preparing filling |
