Rice (Boil Method)

MethodPut on a large saucepan of water to boil. Add a squeeze of lemon juice, throw into water the lemon from which the juice has been squeezed. Sprinkle rice gradually into the boiling water, making sure before adding another sprinkle that the water has returned to the boil. Cover, allow 12-15 minutes cooking time; test at the end of 10 minutes by taking a few grains out on fork and tasting; strain cooked rice through large strainer; do not shake the strainer and allow the rice to stand undisturbed for 5 minutes.
