The Brian Stacey Memorial trust Prize
GUY NOBLE'S FLUTE CONCERTO
Our 1998 recipient, Guy Noble composed a Flute Concerto which was completed and recorded in September, 1999 (financed by the Trust in partnership with the ABC). The Flute Concerto recording was broadcast on ABC Classic FM on Breakfast Radio on the 3rd Anniversary of Brian's death on 25 October 1999, presented by none other than Guy Noble himself.
Congratulations goes to guy Noble for an exceptional effort, composing, writing, and conducting the piece while juggling the early birth of his beautiful new baby girl, radio and music career. Interest has been expressed for a commercial CD release, stay tuned for further update on this.
