Courier Mail Food and Wine Guide 2011 "Buzz by name, busy by nature. Nestled on a corner of the Emporium complex, this inner-eity hive has no shortage of seating options"
Queensland Food and Wine "Buzz perches on a discreet corner of this popular complex, adding a civilized touch to casual dining"
Courier Mail Food and Wine Guide 2009 Queensland "Located in the hectic Emporium complex. Buzz seems to have created a calmness all of its own even with the vivid red, green and white decor, light airy atmosphere and simple, comforting food"
Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2009
Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 "Colour and relaxation best describe Buzz, a licensed cafe that offers the latest in drop-in-to-chill-out living"
Courier Mail Alison Cotes, 14-8-2007 Score: Food: 17 Service: 16 Ambience: 16 Value for money: 15 "It distinguishes itself with the sub-title Food, Drink, Experience, although the experience isn't really very different from the best places in this creme-de-la-creme precinct. It's pretty enough, with a red-and-white-striped awning and seat cushions striped with the South Sydney Rabbitohs colours of red and green. Its wide interior spaces open seamlessly on to the footpath, making it immediately welcoming.Chef Phillip Cox has kept the menu simple, short and enticing and he's allowed many of the special breakfast dishes to morph into all-day meals. For example, you can eat the creamed eggs (Buzz-speak for up-market scrambled) with roasted field mushrooms and rocket ($14) whenever you want to."
