Simon Thomsen reports. There's a secret ingredient in several dishes at this likable, family-run ristorante. You'll find it in the crocchette di baccala, $9: two copper-coloured, creamy footballs of fried salt cod and potato with provolone cheese. It's also in the taralli fatti, the crunchy, bagel-like Pugliese biscuits accompanying the San Daniele prosciutto and ricotta, $13 - one of several assaggi (tastes)"
